Dressage Bridle: Rendering Similar Functions In Both Parts Of The Globe
Horse riding can be considered to be an art. It is a skill to control every move of the stallion by using reins and the rider's legs. Horse riding has been common since the time immemorial. Every civilization has experienced this skill and even today it is counted among the privileged sports in the world. Though there are various stills of riding, the most elegant one is the equestrian hail English riding. Well, it is not only the rider's skill, which sets this kind of riding apart, but the riding apparels such as the dressage bridle also plays a vital role in defining the audacity of this sport. It not only renders protection to the rider, but it also flaunts vogue and luxury in every manner.
In the primeval period, when man started interacting with the horses, he did not initially ride them, but used these animals for pulling carts and chariots. It is still uncertain, in which civilization; man used these animals for riding purposes. However, historians have managed to find out that the first equestrian appendix was likely to be a rope, which was fastened round the neck and a mat in order to protect the rider. In 1000 B.C, the horses became domestic animals and then eventually the accessories associated with them were eventually invented. The stallions, which were used for pulling carts, were known as cart horses and those, which were used for war were known as chargers. Such kind of different activities eventually led to invention of various apparels such as English saddle pads, English bridle etc.
Well there is a bit difference between the English accessories and the western accessories. English dressage bridle is much flattened and light in weight than the western apparels. The English saddle pads do not have horns and the stirrups are also much lighter and simpler than the western ones. The English bridle is usually placed over a saddle pad. Instead, chest plate, martingale can also be used. However, ladies breaches are usually the same in both the countries. Such kinds of apparels usually insist upon vanquished elegance, sleek linings and trim forms.

how should i attach my lead rope to my horses bridle?
ok so a novice is going to be riding my horse so how should i attach my lead rope to his bridle ?
im now borrowing my friends endurance 2-in-1 bridle (combination bridle) as are horses are the same sizes and use the same bit and i will sterilize it before hand but thanx for all the answers xxx
i will still choose a best answer
i think i will invest in an endurance bridle as its handy for long rides it has a removable bit so my horse can have a drink and maybe a munch lol
can people please give me there views on theendurance bridle?
Like the other said, leave a halter on first. A rope halter would suffice and not interfere with the bridle's action. Clipping a lead to a bridle is the last thing you want to do. There is no safe place. However, if you absolutely must, a place would be to the chin strap, which if the horse panics and pulls back will break before doing extensive damage to your horse's sensitive mouth. Any scenario not using a halter underneath is asking for the absolute worst to happen and when it does you'll have a friend and a horse both injured and terrified. Not worth the risk!
