What is the top speed of a 125cc motorcycle?
For example, a Gillera Cougar 125 or a Yamaha XVS dragstar 125 cruiser style bikes.

Half of how fast it will go depends on the weight of the bike and your weight, if you are a bit heavier you'd get about 60-70mph out of a 125cc. But if you are a bit lighter you will get more like 70mph. Also depends on the age of the bike.
Generally the older the bike the more it will under perform(not always true though).
I had a 10 year old 125 dragster(to play about on for a bit) and the most i could get out of it was just over 70mph.
You can always do it up a bit with after market parts to increase the speed.
