How can I wake up my husband in case of an emergency?
My husband works nights and sleeps during the day. He always puts his phone on vibrate while he is asleep so that random calls will not wake him up. I am 12 weeks pregnant and have just started worrying what would happen in case of an emergency and I needed to reach him. His phone is just basic and not an iphone or android, so I have not been able to find anything like a "whitelist" app that would work. We do not have a landline either. Any ideas on what an alternative solution might be?
Get a pay-as-you-go phone for him and don't give anyone else the number. He can leave that one on "ring" and he'll know it's from you. Assuming you can call each other's regular cell phone without using up minutes, all he has to do if he hears it ring and can't answer in time is to call you back using his regular phone. You won't use very many minutes on the pay-as you-go phone, so it won't cost much.
