what is the best brand of diaphragm mouth calls for hunting trukeys?
i have always just bought primos or knight and hale calls from wal-mart, and have killd turkeys with them. i was just wondering if there were a big difference in brands and if so which are the best?
My personal favorite is Paul Butski calls. Most of the diaphragm calls I use are his plus I carry one of his slate calls. Here's his site. http://www.butskisgamecalls.com/ Many turkeys have gone to "the great strutting grounds in the sky" because of his Hen In Heat call. I also carry a few H.S. Strutt calls. Quaker Boy makes some good calls too. Just try a few different calls to get different sounds.
