How do you get an oil stain out of a saddle?
Hello, yesterday I got an old western saddle from my uncle. It is a dark brown colour, but the seat is a vert light tan colour. I cleaned it and then I oiled it with neatsfoot oil. I did not oil the seat, but some got on the edge of it and left a stain. I was just wondering if there was any way to get rid of it?
I've personally never had luck with that, so I just neatsfoot oiled the whole darned thing. It looked great, was forever water resistant, and nobody could tell it hadn't come that color in the 1st place.I do the same thing with moccosans that get stained.
