When you wash clothes worn while hunting?
My hubby is in a class all day today, and I can't call him.
I need to wash all his camo clothes he wears deer hunting, should I not wash them with soap and should I not put a dryer sheet when I dry them?
No dryer sheets or detergent or soap with any smell to it.
Just because they are hunting clothes and they are durable, doesn't mean they can be washed in with the normal laundry. Detergents will give the clothes a certain look that people cannot see. Also, the smell of what is used can spook what he hunts (deer, turkey, etc..). There are scent-free laundry soaps and detergents available.
I, personally, don't wash my hunting clothes when deer season is in because of the smell from washing them. Then when I do wash them, I toss them outside for a day or so to absorb the smell of outside.
