when surfing how long of a board do you think i should use if im surfing 10-12 foot waves?
im moving on to bigger waves now, i just dont know what kind of board to get.
I have surfed waves that size with both long and short boards, and so have thousands of other surfers. I suspect that if you are asking this question on line, that you may not be ready to surf waves that size.
Where are you going to be riding these waves? Who do you surf with now who rides them? You don't give us enough information to really give you a good answer. What type of board are you riding smaller waves with?
