What is the best DVD video camera?
My wife and I are looking to buy a new video DVD camera. I heard they are limited to only an hour of recording before you have to switch DVD, is this true? Is a DVD video camera a good camera?
If you record at the best quality it's only about 20 minutes per disk and no, they're not good! The idea's good but the camcorder's aren't. If you want the best video quality look at MiniDV camcorders, if you want to record without changing anything (apart from batteries) look at hard drive camcorders. Personally, I think the idea of being able to record for hours without changing tapes is hugely overrated - it's not difficult to change tapes and isn't there something about putting all your eggs in one basket?
