New Wheelset for Road bike?
My ride is manly commuting to and from work about 25 miles round trip with every other weekend doing a longer ride (40 - 50 Miles) My current wheelset are the a pair of Alex ALX270 which have gone out of "true" many times and currently have what I was told is a "hop". If you spin the wheel you can see it the wheel move a bit. I found some 2009 Mavic Ksyrium Elites for sale for $325. Not sure if its worth the price to buy them, any ideas?

The single best change you can make in a bike for comfort and speed is a good wheel set! I made the change to the Mavic Ksyrium years ago on my old Cannondale and what a difference it made! The better speed and coasting was noticeable the minute I got on the bike. The bike is owned by a friend of mine and is till running storng, the rims still look terrific and are true.
