Oh yeah. Pretty much my entire high school experience was one big rebellious act. With all the liquid eyeliner, black clothes, chains, combat boots, hair dye and body mods I could afford. I thought I was SO baddass.
I'm still that dark, twisted, little girl on the inside, I still listen to death metal, I still get tattoos, and I still have an unhealthy obsession with the dark side of human nature.
But as an adult, I made a choice to keep that side of my personality for myself, and not express it to the rest of society. Mostly because I'm hoping to become a surgeon, and let's face it, no one is going to let me cut them open if I look like I just stepped out of a vampire movie.
